December 2012 Market Statistics Northwestern Vermont Board of REALTORS Releases December 2012 Market Statistics The Northwestern Vermont Board of REALTORS (NVBR) has released its real estate market statistics for December 2012. The information is derived from data contained in the Northern New England Real Estate Network and covers Chittenden, Franklin and Grand Isle Counties. Closed sales saw a 26.9% percent increase over 2011 Pending sales are up 19.3% during the same period Inventory is down 29.7% from one year ago Median sales price grew 2.8% from December 2011 to December 2012 All these indicators, and more point to a continued turnaround in the real estate market, said Kathleen Sweeten, Executive Vice President of NVBR. We continue to see an active market and are looking forward to a strong market this Spring.
